Welcome to Veterans Moving America's #MovingTipMonday!  We know that moving is a stressful time for everyone and that moving can be complicated.  That's why we've decided to try and help by providing our readers with moving tips every Monday!  Subscribe to our blog to get notified whenever we post a new tip!

Today's Tip:

Warn your movers about any large or awkward items before your move.

Hopefully your movers already have an extensive list of your items before your move, but sometimes standard lists don't include oversized or awkward items.  For example, items like outdoor swings, slides, exercise equipment, and trampolines may not be accounted for on standard estimates.  Sometimes specialty items like the ones mentioned above require special equipment or larger moving teams to move safely.  Give your movers advance notice of such items can help avoid  surprises on move day.  Surprises = bad news on move day, so the more you plan and communicate with your movers, the better off everyone will be!

Happy Moving!
